During these first three months, CHESTER WP2 team worked hard to conceive the best approach to link the CHEST definition and the project’s “Case Studies” (seven actual facilities where CHESTER can touch real world along its life). Since deliverable D2.1 had to be ready in June, we deemed convenient to focus in the three case studies for which information was available, complete and ready to help build the methodology: Aalborg, Ispaster and Lekeitio.
You can access this information by acceding to D2.1, available on the CHESTER Document page. There we assess how the CHEST technology could be potentially incorporated into those facilities, taking into account their characteristics.

This is the first step to define the simulation tool that should help develop the different technologies that will build the CHEST system, specifying the right boundaries. It will be also the embryo for the further simulation tool to assess the high scale CHEST.
